A considerable part of translations ordered from us consists of medical texts. As with most other professional texts, medical texts are translated by experienced specialists as well. Translated texts are also linguistically edited. Cooperation between the translator and client is the most certain way of ensuring a professional and high quality translation. If the translated text is not simply a list of data or facts, the style of translation and the information given to the translator about the purpose of the text determines the final result. For example, a substantially analogous text can look quite different in an advertising brochure or a summary of a research project.
We have mostly translated information notes for medicines, protocols of clinical research of medicines (including their back-translations), user manuals of medical equipment, extracts of medical histories, medical handbooks and training materials, certificates, one-time export and import permits of medicines (translations of the latter usually need to be notarised as well).
In ten years of activity, we have begun cooperation with many medical companies (the Estonian Genome Foundation, SmithKline Beecham, Tamro, Oriola, Hoffmann - La Roche, MSD, Pfizer Estonia, Nycomed, Viru Dental Clinic etc.). We cooperate with several foreign medical companies and translation bureaus engaged in translating medical texts.
