We accept documents and issue translations (certified by a sworn translator or by Luisa) from 11:00-15:00 Monday to Friday at our Tallinn office (Rotermanni 7) or via courier\/parcel terminal throughout Estonia.

A sworn translator provides official translations and confirms them with their signature.

<\/strong>Contact our sworn translators via our Document Department if you need to submit an official translation of a document such as a diploma, an extract from a register, a court ruling, a notarised act or a marriage certificate to an Estonian or foreign authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The translation and confirmation of a document is more time-consuming than the normal translation service. After reaching us, the document goes through seven steps, with the result being a translated document meeting all requirements that will be accepted by authorities in Estonia and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before or after a document is translated and confirmed, special services are often needed depending on the country from which the document originated or to which it is being submitted. International requirements for documents depend on their type and purpose. Our 30 years of experience in translating special documents and dealing with complex cases means that we know how to guide you through this. If needed, we can help you find out what you have to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This service is subject to a fee. The payment for the first counselling session is 40 euros + VAT (30 mins to 1 hour). Further fees may be charged, depending on the complexity of the case. If you submit your document to us for translation, you get 50% off the counselling fee.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: <\/strong>We arrange sworn translations of marriage certificates and education and business documents that are submitted to us or come from all over the world on a daily basis. The sworn translation of regular documents with additional certification (legalisation, apostille, notarised confirmation, etc.) is an ordinary part of what we do, so no additional counselling is needed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

International cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because there aren\u2019t sworn translators for certain language combinations (from one foreign language to another) in Estonia, we work with sworn translators around the world. We ourselves offer sworn translations in 30 languages, but the number of languages is unlimited. For exotic languages we have not previously had requests for, we make inquiries with our partners to find the best solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many authorities also accept translations confirmed by Luisa Language Solutions. Please ask the relevant authority if this is the case with them. We can provide you with more detailed information in this regard if you e-mail or call us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
