How much is 1 page? How is the volume of work calculated?
1 page does not mean one physical page. The amount of text that can be printed on one A4 sheet varies widely, so it is not possible to calculate a price on this basis.
There are several ways to calculate the volume.
- With some regular customers, we have agreed on the price of a single word. If the text contains repetitive phrases, we will calculate a discount on these.
- If we have agreed on a price per page, we will calculate the volume of work based on the completed translation. For us, one page is 1800 characters including spaces. Please keep in mind that translating into a foreign language usually increases the text volume by about 20%.
- Most commonly, we offer our clients a project price, which does not change even if the translation is longer than we initially thought.
